Wedding Photography Information

All the information on this page will outline how I approach Photographing your Wedding Day. There are also some FAQs at the bottom of the page to answer some of the more common questions I get asked.

If you chose our Silver Package or above you’ll get coverage of the bridal preparations. This gives everyone a chance to relax in front of the camera while they’re getting ready. It also allows for lots of natural shots as the excitement builds!

It’s then on to the venue for the ceremony capturing all those exciting moments of anticipation and getting natural shots of your guests as they arrive.

After the ceremony is over it’s then time to get the formal shots of your family and friends. I also like to take the bride and groom to get some great romantic style shots that make the centrepiece of the album.

Depending on the package you go for I can continue on with the speeches and into the evening, ending when you’ve had your First Dance.  At this stage of the day all the photography is entirely informal and documentary in style, which allows me to get the most natural kind of shots and it makes a great way to finish the Album if you’re having one.

How long have you been doing this?

I have been involved in capturing images from weddings since 2005. It’s a truly unique experience and insight into the depth of emotions that people experience during the biggest day of their lives and I love the atmosphere and the photos a Wedding produces.

Are you Insured?

Yes I’m fully insured for both Public Liability and Public Indemnity. I also carry back-up equipment – I leave nothing to chance on the Wedding day.

What Happens if you fall ill and can’t attend the Wedding?

In the 10 years that I have been in the business I haven’t missed a Wedding due to ill health. However, I have a wide network of colleagues who would be able to step in should the unforeseen occur.

How long will it take to receive our images?

You will usually get your images to you  between 2 – 4 Weeks, however during the busier time this could be anywhere between 3 – 6 weeks. If you’ve chosen an Album, once I’ve received your selection and you’ve said your happy with the final design, it can 6 weeks to be printed and dispatched.

How far will you travel?

We’ve photographed Weddings all over the country so it’s not an issue, however if its outside a fifty mile radius we would have to charge a fuel fee.

Do you require food on the day?

It’s not something that I ask for. I usually use that time for a break while you and your guests enjoy the Wedding Breakfast.
